A young person that I worked with was singing a song today.
This young person is currently awaiting approval of his asylum application so he could stay in this country. I can’t share his life story though its a very sad and powerful one but I can share that he is without any of his family and living here alone with the support of a few great organisations doing great work.
Add to that the fact that he is currently discovering and trying to understand his love for another another young man. A young man who’s second application wasn’t successful and he may soon have to be without should the appeal fail.
Yet he sat today with a smile, and sang this.
This young kid is stronger than anyone I know.
